Raymond Cruz
Bio
Raymond Tesoro Cruz (b. Philippines) Ilocano half Bulakenyo is a contemporary artist inspired by the aesthetic principles of negative space and imperfection.
His works revolve around the concept of simplicity and the paradox of emotion and the impassive. The artist's works are more of a suggestion rather than a description. It's a mysterious, atmospheric expression of pure silence. Raymond is a conscientious craftsman who prints and frames his own work using archival and the finest materials available.
Some of his works reside with private collectors and are on permanent display at One Gallery and the Archbishop's Palace in Batangas City, Philippines. But more than that, He is a student and an amateur; a tireless seeker of knowledge, occasional purveyor of wisdom, a father of two, and a loving husband to Cherry.
